Commercial and Economic Relations between Turkey and Lithuania

The bilateral trade volume between Turkey and Lithuania was recorded as 687 million Dollars in 2018, which corresponds to 13 percent decrease compared to the year before (Turkish exports 277 million Dollars; imports 410 million Dollars).

Main items of Turkey’s exports to Lithuania are textile products, road vehicles, iron and steel commodities, jewelry commodities, machines; whilst main import items of Turkey from Lithuania are scrap iron, grain, fertilizers, furniture, and electric machines.

In the period of 2002-2018, total amount of direct investments from Lithuania to Turkey is 22 million Dollars. This figure is 3 million Dollars from Turkey to Lithuania in the same period.

In 2018, approximately 200 thousand Lithuanian tourists visited Turkey.
